At Millbrook Partners we know that no two clients are the same. Some clients have a special need – a project. Others have on going needs that requires an on-going relationship – a retainer. Unlike most consulting firms, we tailor our fee relationship to meet your unique business needs.
Project Rates:
Projects are typical engagements for most consulting firms. You have a special need that requires a special outcome. In this case a proposed work plan is submitted with an estimate of time and fees to complete the project. Millbrook Partners bases its fees on the amount of time and level of staff required to perform the work to meet your objectives. We have established these rates at 1/3 less than the larger consulting houses.
We bill for the actual time worked, only. We do not add on an administrative fee. And unlike the large consulting houses we do not bill for the individual conducting the work, but rather for the value of the work itself. Thus if the level of work to be conducted is of an associate level and a principal performs the task, you will be billed for the associate rate. Travel time within the normal working day is billed at 1/2 rate if it is a major time component compared to the work level.
Retainer Rates:
Many of our clients find the need for an ongoing relationship. Like other professional service firms you determine the amount of time you feel necessary. Because you are reserving time we offer you a discount over our current rates. The more time you reserve the larger the fee discount that you receive. There is a four-month minimum retainer required. Longer periods can be arranged, guaranteeing rates for a longer period of time.
Hours not utilized in one month may be carried over for one month.
