Jason
White has over 13 years of experience in helping clients face challenging
HR and compensation issues. Based in Los Angeles, he has assisted
a wide array of clients in diverse industries, including aerospace,
banking, chemical, consulting, engineering and construction, health
care, high technology, internet, manufacturing, media, non-profit
and telecommunications.
Jason’s experience lies in the design of compensation strategies
and programs that effectively motivate and properly reward participants,
while balancing critical factors such as an organization’s financial
situation, growth phase, cultural landscape and shareholder interests.
His areas of specialty include compensation philosophy development,
design of executive retention programs for M&A and turnaround situations,
annual incentive plan design, equity-based
long-term incentive program design and the
development of remuneration programs for outside directors.
Prior to joining
ECG, Jason was an executive compensation consultant in Watson Wyatt’s Executive and Incentive Pay Practice. Before
Watson Wyatt, Jason worked in Chicago with the executive compensation
consulting practice of Compensation Resource Group. Earlier, he was
with the Los Angeles human resources consulting practice of BDO Seidman
and the New York executive compensation consulting practice of Buck
Consultants. Jason began his career as a research associate with the
Princeton, NJ office of Sibson & Company.
Jason graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor
of Arts from the College of Arts and Sciences and completed extensive
coursework in multinational management at the Wharton School.
